General Knowledge About FanBox

FanBox is a large, diverse site and here are some of the most common questions and things you need to know about finding things on the site quickly.

Get Video Help

Access the video help center from your home page  or your profile page and click on the link "Video Help Center."
The Video Help Center contains helpful "How To" videos on a number of Knowledge Roles and other FanBox information.



Earnings and Your FanBox Bank

Earnings must mature for 90 days before you can utilize them to Boost, utilize them to fund ads or to cash them out. 

The only exception to the 90 days is If you are a graduate you will be able to utilize your earnings for ads only after 60 days. 

Your earnings history gives you a breakdown for each day as well as when those funds mature.

Earnings are available immediately to purchase Products and Services and Premium Blog Packages.

Add funds to your FanBox bank by clicking the "Add Funds" to Top Up under the Start tab in the Dashboard.
Clicking your balance in your FanBox bank will display a breakdown of your matured funds, funds available to purchase Ads and unmatured earnings.

Comments

You can easily respond to comments made on your posts by unchecking Friends and Fans on your home page.
Your news feed will show any activity from your friends and people you are a fan of. To not view this activity, simply uncheck the appropriate checkbox.
Interests

Interests determine what posts and ads you will be shown on FanBox

To add and change the values for your interests you will need to go your account tab at the top of the page on the right side and select account then account settings. Click on the "Add More" tab in the box which shows your interests. This will lead you to the page where you can adjust the the values and edit your interests. 
You can also go to your profile page and select "Edit Profile" and from that page click on interests to make any changes.






Fans and Friends
    
  There are several ways to add Friends and Fans and to delete Friends and Fans:

When adding a Friend select the notification at the very top of the page when it shows you that you have Friend or Fan requests. This will allow you to add people either as friends or fans.

From this same page you can either select to view your Friends or Fans list and remove (delete) Friends or Fans if you choose.
From your homepage select your Friends or Fans and it will bring you to the page which will show you a list and you can remove a Friend or a Fan this way.
To send someone a Friend request go to their profile page and select "Add As Friend."
You can also get to your Friends and Fans list from your profile page on the left side.
You can fan another user by going to their profile page and selecting "Add As Fan" or at the top left of a post of theirs it will say "Become A Fan."
You can also "Become A Fan" of another user when you view the full Leader Board.



The Leader Board!

The Leader Board on your home page will show the top ten earners in your country on the left side of the page. Click "View full Leader Board" to view top 100 earners in your country and filter based on specific types of Knowledge Work. 
When you are viewing the full Leader Board you will be able to view the list for the top 25 Knowledge Producers, Promoters, Qualifiers, Boosters, Teachers and Success Coaches when you select the drop down menu. 





Johnny Cash

Find Johnny Cash on the home page.   ( You can select any of the links on the left side of the page highlighted in blue )  or you can select any of the links under "Ready For A REVOLUTION." 

Johnny Cash is the community leader of FanBox, however his role will fade as members begin to govern themselves.
Previously, Johnny Cash's blogs were located on the right hand side of the Home page, they are now on the left hand side of the page.



Your Background
Learn how to change your background by going to your profile page and clicking on your profile photo and select "show me your choices" under Choose a Profile Background.
You can also go to your Profile page and from there select your FanBoxes.  Right click on the left or right side of your FanBoxes and select 'view other popular backgrounds' to change your Profile Background. 



Account Settings
Change your account settings by selecting your Account tab at the top right of the page, then account settings. 



Profile Photo

Removing Yourself from Photos You've Been Tagged In
Untag yourself from a photo by clicking the "Remove" link next to your name from the list of names below the photo.
To change your current profile photo, click your current profile photo, then click the "Browse" button and select your new profile photo.

Choosing a Charity
Select a charity and money will be donated to your cause without coming from your earnings. Chose the charity of your choice at the top of your profile page.
It is not mandatory to choose a charity to support.


Linking to Facebook and Twitter

Link to your Facebook and Twitter accounts by selecting the Produce tab and above your blog title click on the "Facebook"  or "Twitter" tab to link your account.




Removing Yourself from Photos You've Been Tagged In
Untag yourself from a photo by clicking the "Remove" link next to your name from the list of names below the photo.
