What is Boosting?

What is Boosting?

By boosting you are simply funding ad clicks that were not funded by the person that created that ad, in order to profit.
If a Booster funds an ad,  the blogger and the advertiser also earn.
(Note:  You must Boost at least $1 in order to complete your Status Bar and become eligible for consideration as a Success Coach if that is a path you have chosen in FanBox.)
There is no limit to the number of  portfolios you can set up.
Please remember that:
  • You can Boost in amounts from $1.00 USD up to $100,000.00 USD
  • You can fund your boost portfolio by topping up through Paypal, credit card, and Western Union  OR  you can utilize Matured Earnings to Boost. (earnings mature 90 days after the month earned)
  • You can never lose money as a Booster.  You get back your original amount if unutilized and your original amount + a return if it was utilized!  WooHoo!
  • You may "Pause" a Boost at any time.  (unutilized portions of your Boost fund will take 48 hours to be returned to your bank)
  • Your boost amount will be held in pending status in your FanBox bank until utilized or until you pause your portfolio (again, funds returned to your bank take up to 48 hours after pausing).  The choices you make can affect how long it takes for your funds to be utilized:  your minimum return requirement and who or what you choose to boost in determines whether your funds end up being utilized and how long that may take.  To maximize the chance your entire boost is utilized, and in the best possible time frame, choose the option to let FanBox control the return your receive.
  • While your Boost Funds  are pending they are unavailable to be utilized for ads or other portfolios
  • ACTIVE:  means that your money is waiting to be fully utilized.  There may be more money available to boost, than there are boost opportunities so not all money boosted into the system will always be utilized.
  • By selecting the Simple method, you are instructing FanBox's algorithms to decide who or what to boost in for you, based on all the information available to it.
  • By selecting the Advanced method, you will have the opportunity to get very specific about who and what your boost helps
When is the best time to Boost?  ANYTIME is good.  However, I have noticed slightly better returns the first two weeks of a month.  I think more people are starting new ads then or beginning fresh starts or something.
If you haven't already, give Boost a try.  It's easy and could be one of the missing pieces to your earnings puzzle!  The following Member-Produced video is great for showing you how to set up a Portfolio and about some of the ways you can control how your Boosting funds are used.
